LA singer/songwriter Ryan Woods recently released his single “Pillow,” and it’s a stunner. The 19-year-old artist has been at it for a minute now; he put out his first EP “bedroom tapes” last year and has dropped a string of strong singles since then.
“Pillow,” however, stands out among his discography. It’s so immaculately produced and layered that details will keep revealing themselves even after multiple listens. What begins as a sort of laid-back bedroom pop joint flowers into one of the most infectious pop songs we’ve heard all year. Woods is going to be absolutely huge, there’s no doubt about it.
