One of Van Buren Records’ finest, Saint Lyor, is back on our pages yet again and this time he’s dropped off the visuals for his cut “Aunt Jemima”. Without knowing it, the state of Massachusetts has some of the best undiscovered talent in the country. It seems as if they have a bit of catching up to do because the good people at Van Buren are here to stay.
With direction from Lyor and Colin Pagnoni, these shots showcase this bass-heavy cut through a brilliant perspective. Lyor had one of my favorite songs of 2019 with “Gossip” and this is one that might be up there as well. We love when collectives stay true to their talents and loyal to their friends, that’s what pushes them through towards success.
