Chiefers favorite, Samron Agnew, has kept the music flowing this summer and shown us his talent for switching styles and flows with a few common qualities over each track; this guy knows how to make a hit. After hinting at dropping an angry and energetic EP, the Illinois artist released SCREAMO! Starting off with a bang, “LULLABY” features a hard hitting, Dr. Alien–produced beat that sets the tone of the project perfectly. Agnew screams and flows his way into your ears to give you a taste of the project before leading into another Alieninstrumental that will rattle your speakers, while Agnew rides the beat with a catchy rhythm.
“KILL HIM!” has the familiar duo of Fades on the production for the dark vibes and Agnew both delivers an aggressive verse and a chilling spoken word verse at the same time as the layering creates a grim mood for the track. Finishing off with “NIGHTMARE,” and another Fades produced beat, Agnew switches up the yelling for a solid flow that sails over the beat with for a refreshing cap to the impressive EP.
