She Loves Boon is a self-described emotional trap artist, and with his latest release, I’m delighted to have found a new addition to my personal playlist. “For The Weekend” is a bassy, bouncy and energetic track. Boon melodically raps about having a ting for the weekend and nothing more. Playing with hyperpop aesthetics, Boon finds innovative flows to create a distinguished sound in this space.
Boon‘s voice is what makes the track stand out, in my opinion. His higher register voice has a very commercial appeal to it and could quickly become a staple in hip-hop and hyperpop. I’m ecstatic for the potential Boon has, but for now run up “For The Weekend” below!
