Illusive LA-based artist Showtime Jay follows up his debut release with a well-shot and directed visual for “Ring.” The track is light and airy, with Jay’s vocals floating over colorful production from XODB, who’s been going crazy after his recent placements with 03 Greedo and Lil Gotit. The direction on the video comes from rising videographer Turtle.Mov, and pictures Jay posted up in a crazy Calabasas mansion and cruising through LA in a Lamb truck. We asked Jay to give us a quote about what the release means to him; “‘Ring’ is a symbol of both success and love in our world today,” which can be seen in the video for the music.
