Not that this needs much of a description, but when one of Brooklyn’s finest lyricist teams up with one of the best producers ever, it is always worth mentioning. Far from their first time tag teaming a track, 9th hit the first single off Sky’s upcoming release A Dream Deferred with his signature suave soul beat mechanics. The boxing bars punch all the right notes of the backbeat, and the video’s aesthetic is built around following Sky all over the BK cityscape that bred his rap career. We’ll be looking out for the new record at the beginning of October.
