Looking back on 2021, Slimelife Shawty‘s Better Living is one of the year’s obvious standout projects. We’ve got to witness, in real time, Slimelife‘s transition from regional hero to superstar. At 21 years old, he’s proven himself to be a singular talent amid Atlanta’s always-crowded hip-hop scene.
Better Living is filled to the brim with bangers and introspective tracks alike, and Slime scored with features from A-listers like Future and Lil Durk. One of the record’s strongest tracks is undoubtedly “In A Min,” featuring none other than Nardo Wick. Nardo, of course, had a blow out year with “Who Want Smoke??”, and when these two join forces, the results are nothing short of incredible.
In the track’s new visual, filmed by Jerry Production on the Atlanta outskirts, the two rappers flex their talent and stake out their territory. Slime‘s ominous demeanor is on full display, and Nardo‘s presence is a sight to behold. What a way to cap off an incredible year for both rappers.
