Hella Names
First up is Connecticut upstart, HellaNames. Or as I like to call him, the Stoned Vocalist. After discovering him through a friend, I proceeded to check out every single record he had, yet I still craved for more. Maybe it’s because I’m bored with the usual “standard” style of rap, either way, Connecticut’s HellaNames is something to keep your eye on. Although he decided to delete his entire discography, Hella did leave us with one gem, his latest cut “Are You Ready” — produced by CMPLX. Check it out.
