Last month, Internet rapper Soulja Boy hinted at a deal worth more $400 million, which obviously had everyone on Social Media in a uproar. According to Billboard, Soulja Boy’s big deal came from World Poker Fund Holdings, a leading developer in online and event-based social gaming platforms.
Here’s what the Poker Company had to say about the deal:
“The world of marketing is changing,” said Matthew Bird. “Today’s biggest influencers are not brands, but individuals who create content that drive loyalty and brand sentiment. We no longer are fed content from major news networks — we seek it out and consume it by individual influencers that enrich our lifestyles. Soulja Boy represents the best of the best and we are already seeing the impact from his presence.”
