Perhaps one of my favorite producers is Squeak of PIVOT Gang, and he just dropped off a dope new mix entitled “Sweet.”
I’m not very up to date with Chicago’s underground music scene, but I’d say out of the moderate amount that I do know about it, Squeak is by far one of the most talented people out there. The song “Sweet” features a man by the name of J Hood, who is currently locked up, but was talking to Squeak in the song, which worked really well. I love the aesthetic of everything that Squeak puts out, it just just has a ton of soul and even though there isn’t any lyrics, I can still feel emotion behind the music.
