Hailing from the 7th Ward of New Orleans, Stone Cold Jzzle has released a new song, titled “Pain”. Jzzle’s ear for beats continues to shine, electing to have Cash Cobain, 1st Class, and Tre Trax on the production. The instrumental is a drill-style flip on T-Pain and Lil Wayne’s timeless classic, “Can’t Believe It”. Jzzle flows over this production with ease and does so in a way that is different from the traditional way that rappers rap on drill beats.
The Frankie shot and directed visuals added to the rapid bubblegum nature of the production. It showcases several scenes of Jzzle under a filtered fisheye lens that highlighted bright colors within the video despite the dark lighting. Overall, this is a cool track and I look forward to hearing more from Stone Cold Jzzle. Check out his latest video, “Pain,” below.
