If you can recall: A month back, Lil Wayne’s tour bus was shot at following a show in Atlanta — the hometown of rap superstar Young Thug. After months of investigations, Police have finally made an arrest, and it’s being reported that the suspect may have ties w/ Young Thug.
Jimmy Carlton Winfrey has been charged with “aggravated assault, terroristic threats, possession of a firearm by a felon, and criminal gang activity,” according to multiple sources. Now, to stir up things even more, TMZ has now reported that Winfrey was once Thug’s tour manager. The two can be seen together in a photo together posted to Instagram.
So far, nothing suggests that the shooting had anything to do with Wayne and Thug’s feud, but who the fuck knows at this point. Either way, we’ll keep you posted when more information comes available.
