I didn’t understand Smokingskul‘s music before the project and I’m not sure if I fully get it, but that’s kinda the appeal for me. Skul‘s delivery is so abrasive that you almost feel like you’re being yelled at. But somewhere between Skul‘s zany punchlines and Chief Keef-plugg infused beats, the Sweden native is like the underground’s big bad wolf.

“Jenga” and “Who Is U” offer breakneck flows with evil adlibs and a more DMV-influenced flow while tracks like “Nina”, “Hi Tech”, and “Valid” punch you in the face with wacky opening liners that hook you in and keep you. With features from underground fan favorites like Lunchbox and Xanman, Skul cements himself as premier talent in the underground.
