Top Dawg Entertainment had a great year in 2013. Kendrick Lamar killed the game with his verse on “Control,” ScHoolboy Q branched out on his own, and they added two new artists (SZA & Isaiah Rashad).
With all of the success that came, TDE still never dropped an album in 2013. TDE’s CEO Anthony Tiffith went to Twitter stating that the label plans to release a total of six albums in 2014. ScHoolboy Q is finally releasing Oxymoron in February, while Isaiah Rashad has a project on the way, also. I’m excited to see how TDE markets each project individually.
