The Game Reveals “The Documentary 2” Is a Double Album w/ 38 Songs

While in New York, The Game stopped by Hot 97 for a quick interview with Peter Rosenberg and Laura Stylez to talk about The Documentary 2. While there, he decided to reveal that The Documentary 2 is a double album and consists of 38 tracks, with 19 songs on each disc. Disc one releasing this October 9th, and disc two dropping the next week. Watch now.

Proud to announce to my fans the REASON it took so long to get this album to you… Because it’s a MOTHAFUCKIN’ “DOUBLE DISC” !!!!! In a world where labels punk artists to keep their albums down to 10-12 songs… I don’t give a fuck so because 2 of my favorite artists in 2Pac & Notorious B.I.G. put out dope double albums… I figured 10 years into an iconic career I’d give my fans the opportunity to have one from me…… The reason one is a red bandana & a blue bandana is to bring awareness to the “100 Days 100 Nights” & on going Crip & Blood epidemic that has plagued my city recently & in the past…. & really explained to the world how things like this occur & have occurred since 1970 when gang bangin’ was created in Los Angeles & its surrounding cities & hoods….. The albums are very lyrical & descriptive as well as dope production wise & Dr. Dre approved…..
