Louisville, KY supergroup The Homies finally let loose their debut release titled Umbrellas. The Private Garden artists have been making some serious waves alongside their cohort Jack Harlow, the newest artist thriving in DJ Drama’s domain. This project has some serious swagger. Kentucky is already a super slept on area that has been making some serious quality music for quite some time, but what these guys are bringing to the table is truly something different. Their sound can literally appeal to almost anyone and it features quite the plethora of flavors. Notable standout singles like ‘On Gawd’ and ‘Split the Bill’ are featured on the project and are just as enjoyable, if not more when you find them in their place on the full listen through. Each member of The Homies sound is so unique yet when stitched all together it just makes so much sense together. The peaks and valleys are so well executed throughout the project and the group really does and excellent job of expressing a wide range of emotions. Their deliveries are nothing short of damn near flawless. Definitely take your next spare moment to play ‘Umbrellas’ and I can attest that you will thank me after.
