For what is the second single from their upcoming album “Covered”, The Robert Glasper Trio have released a live session video of them covering Jhene Aiko’s the worst. By way of their respective instruments, The Trio, comprised of Damion Reid (Drums), Vicente Archer (Bass), and Robert Glasper (Piano), drew out a touching, mid-tempo rendition of Aiko’s hit, relaying the pain expressed through the song’s lyrics with precision. About the song, Glasper told The FADER: “Most songs like that are annoying, but this song is dope.
