If you want to apply to Lupe’s 2015 Guild for rappers and emcees, here are the steps that you need to take.  Back in 2012, Mickey Factz made an appearance on the J.R. Bang Morning Show & spoke of how he and Lupe had a lengthy discussion about creating a guild catered to teaching rap artists different structures of emceeing. It has finally come to fruition. Early today via his Instagram, Lu gave the details of what anyone who wants to join the Guild of rappers and emcees should do, which begins by submitting an application.

They are as follows:

Please email ALL of the required material and information to: Lyricalguild@gmail.com

Deadline for 2015 submission is June 1st.

You will be contacted by staff if your application is accepted. Any incomplete applications will not be considered.
Please note before you send in your application that this is NOT an opportunity for you to get a recording contract, a song feature, or any kind of commercial recording deal. The guild’s sole mission is to create fellowship among Rappers and MC’s across the globe with the goal of progressing and cultivating the art form through workshops, coaching, intense study & practice, developmental programs and immersive curriculum. While collaboration is always promoted, and hopefully you will find some benefit in the guild, please do not treat this as solely a commercial come up to exploit and abuse relationships.

Thank You,
The Society Of Spoken Art
