I loved how in the 90’s any sequel to a movie could just add “This time it’s personal” to the title and it added sheer zest to the viewers desires. That’s what I’m doing here, simply to attract a couple of extra readers who connect with the nostalgia and click the link. That’s all this world is really about now, clicking links. Views, retweets, saves and shares dictate the value of your talents in this dreary capitalistic society. There is no escaping your demise and it’s truly only a matter of time before it’s all over.
But hey you’re still breathing and kicking right? You still have the option to hold onto to what matters in your world. I get that shit is mighty fucked up right now, but the sense of hope and faith in your own works is what I try to keep in the front of my mind. There have been a shit ton of things I’ve either written about or worked on that I feel didn’t get the proper validation, but I now understand that the right audience didn’t even know about it. Regardless of who’s watching and who’s paying attention, keep dropping that shit. Don’t wait for anyone and build you own name in this world.
