With a multitude of new sounds coming out of the Toronto area, one that particularly sticks out to us is Young Smoke. After tragically losing his older brother Smoke Dawg in 2018, Young Smoke has been working to honor his legacy and also build a name for himself. He has built a steady fanbase over the past few years using his unique voice and his ability to switch up flows with no hesitation.
With only two singles under his belt in 2021, we can sense that he is gearing up for a big year. Young Smoke’s first single of the year, entitled “Block Boy,” displays his ability to float on the beat with ease while sticking to his own distinctive style.
