Thank God for my stalker-like use of Soundcloud. I recently stumbled across this duo of artists from California that go by tsvfog. I don’t know what it stands for, I don’t know both of their names for sure (Ian Alexander is one and the other is Jamal, I believe) but I do know that these guys are fuckin’ RAW.
Combining gritty raps with clever punchlines, infectious hook and booming, head-rattling production is a winning formula for these two, who have been unloading tons of content on soundcloud and Youtube. Outside of their viral hit “Riding Round the City Hot,” they’re underground as fuck, and don’t seem to care about being P.C. or even if you like their music, and that blistering confidence that shines through in their tracks. From what I’ve gathered, they’ve dropped around 40-50 mixtapes since 2011. Their work ethic is clearly fuckin’ nuts, and their sound is mad original, and I definitely think they’ll grab the spotlight before long.
