Earlier this summer, a feminist organization called Collective Shout petitioned to ban Tyler from performing in Australia. Before the petition could take place, Tyler decided to cancel the Australian tour. Recently, he took to Twitter to announce that he’s also canceling his UK tour leg, along with several Ireland dates — including his sets at the Reading and Leeds festivals.
In the tweet, Tyler says the cancelation is due to a couple lyrics that he had during 2009. Check out the tweets below and leave your thoughts in the comments.

BASED ON LYRICS FROM 2009 I AM NOT ALLOWED IN THE UK FOR 3-5 YEARS ( although i was there 8 weeks ago) THAT IS WHY THE SHOWS WERE CANCELLED.
