Drax Project has come through with a song that will take over this summer, I promise. “Over It” is easily one of the catchiest tracks that I’ve heard in a while. Drax comes through with some silky vocal runs, and great harmonizes over an upbeat guitar beat. What makes me most excited is the drum pattern on the record; the use of the cowbells and uptempo kick makes for a fun, danceable song.
Delving into the lyrical component of the record, Drax seems to be caught between relationships. They are unsure if this is the end of the relationship or this is just how things will always be; this is super relatable, and I know everyone has been in this position at least once.
