Here at Daily Chiefers we put pride into finding the dopest artist available in each area of the country, and 10 years later, we’re still the leader in music discovery. And although I consider ourselves the best in the game, I still find myself surprised when I find something dope on the internet.
After going through a few records on SoundCloud, I came across Oakland crooner Maj4l and I was absolutely blown away. He first hit my radar with his amazing song and video to “Apologize,” his buzzing new record that he dropped about a month ago and I have been hooked ever since.
The Bay Area, especially Oakland, California, usually has a specific sound that radiates across the area, but not with Maj4l. He’s here to stay. No word on when he plans on dropping a full-length mixtape, but we’ll keep you posted.
