Long Beach native Vince Staples is back with his new track “Magic,” the lead single off his upcoming album Ramona Park Broke My Heart which is set to release in April. This is his first drop since his self-titled standout 2021 project, Vince Staples. Vince says the two projects were created at similar times and he was in a similar state of mind so there’s a direct relation between the two.
The track, produced by Mustard who is also an LA native, pays homage to his Long Beach roots with west coast style production and Vince’s distinct voice and unique delivery he’s known for across his whole discography. Kenny Beats also contributed to the track as an engineer, making a star-studded lineup across the credits and this track definitely lives up to the names behind it.
Vince Staples has been on a steady incline since the release of his breakthrough project Summertime ‘06, and he seems to be growing as an artist with every drop working to perfect his sound as he goes. Check out the new single down below.
