I know it’s early, but I’m calling it right now — Lé Dorsey (formerly known as xlovclo) is going to be a generational talent. Few artists can blend being a classically trained vocalist and instrumentalist with a knack for producing some of the most goofy and entertaining social media content out right now. However, Dorsey‘s new track “WTF” gained much of its pre-release buzz from her spin on Plug N’ B titled “Cum N’ B”.
As suggestive as this subgenre may seem, the Maryland native explained via Instagram that the new genre is “not about sex. It is about love. Hope. Restoration.” It’s not until you hear songs like “WTF,” where Dorsey describes thwarting off the pressures of fame and unappealing lovers, that you realize the validity in what she is saying. Other tracks like “Mindset” and “Romantic” reaffirm these sentiments. Check out “WTF” below. You won’t be disappointed.
