Cleveland has been a hotbed of talent for a long time, the world is just a bit late to accept that. And in the case of 3vd, we have another prime example of why not to sleep on the city. With “My Bad” we hear layering of futuristic synths, melded with 3vd‘s poignant vocal approach. Yes, this is a very modernized style of music, but this young man stands out from the pack with his songwriting.
And yes again, it’s not overly complex, but 3vd showcases enough personality with his pen to make the ear fiend for more. It does give off this spacey, game-inspired wave building off blips and chords, but doesn’t sound like a cheap frill to distract from the protagonist. We won’t be surprised if this young man pops out in the next few months with a bigger buzz, but until then peep this heat below.
