Kwad has been on our radar for a minute. As he begins to elaborate on his style, it seems like the world is soon to catch up. This latest drop is a video for his cutting-edge track titled, “I Swear.” Kwad is contending for a spot amongst Virginia’s top talent. He’s exhibiting an ability to spaz on appropriately hard beats, follow them up with equally tough videos, and acquire support from some of Hip Hop’s top talent, like Pusha T, PnB Rock and Xanman. In this new video, Kwad flexes in front of a white Porsche surrounded by his homies. He looks right into the camera, engaging with his audience as he recites his unreal chorus and verses for “I Swear”. This might be my favorite release of his so far. Regardless, we’ll be tuned in for when the next one drops. In the meantime, he’s left us with an absolute gem to appreciate. If you’re not already familiar with Kwad, you are now.
