Over the past few years Chase Aaron has been pumping out moody, ambient, alternative R&B under his own name and as SRNDR, a collaborative project with fellow LA singer and songwriter Lovsky. The results thus far have been incredibly impressive, but with “Fin,” his latest release, he perfects his unmistakable style and easily earns the label of genius. The track is repetitive and droning, nearly hypnotic in nature. The vocal melodies are simple and dreamy; close your eyes listening to this one and you might just float away.
