Koi keeps proving that he just does not miss. In his newest drop, “Big”, the rising talent delivers a mesmerizing and melodic track about the highs and lows of relationships. It’s going to get stuck in your head so easily there’s no way you won’t find yourself humming this to yourself next time you’re rolling up.
The Daniel Jordan K-directed visual finds koi in a laundromat, crooning some smooth lines from a basket full of white t-shirts. The hazy, bed-head look is some staple imagery for koi and perfectly enhances the feel of his music. After leaving the laundromat and heading to a sizable west coast crib, he takes his shirts from the laundromat and hangs them up across the courtyard. It’s an interesting setting for the final act of the video that leads you to see just how much koi stands out amongst so many other artists in his lane that are as plain as a white tee.
