Sometimes all it really takes is for the right people to show me this shit and boom, we go from there. Borges is a good old Canadian boy and his off-kilter styling caught my ear in the form of “Strange Dreams”. Now, this is off of his latest EP entitled Purple You and his ambient vocals entice the ear immediately.
Along with the stellar instrumentation, the overall feel of the record is quite warm in the best way. It’s a lust-filled time-machine back to an era where love was free and drugs were apart of the daily regimen. Regardless of whether that was the case or not for Borges, the end product turned out pretty magnificent. Do yourself a favor and explore the EP in it’s entirety below.
