We hear him build upon his Chicago drill roots with a few melodic bars. The occasional sung cadence doesn’t undercut the energy created. “And if it’s smoke we gonna give him that / Bet he remembers that”. Lil Moe is a pioneer for the new age rap in Chicago, paying homage to the drill scene but still paving his own respective lane.
