Lay Wit Ya by Isaiah Rashad
Isaiah Rashad makes his return with the record “Lay Wit Ya” featuring Duke Deuce. This record pays homage to Tennessee with the Three Six Mafia sample, and both these emcees hail from The Volunteer State. Rashad gives a laid-back cadence with imagery of selling drugs, bravado, and turning his bitch into his baby girl. Duke Deuce gives a high energy performance as to be expected.
Naples by Brevin Kim
“Naples” has been a single the brother duo has been teasing for the past few months, and I understand why. Brevin Kim gave a catchy rock record with hip-hop influences, and it has one of their best hooks to date. They made that will get you in your head in the best way possible. I recommend you give this song a listen!
Hollywood Sucks// by KennyHoopla
2021 has been the revival of Pop-punk and Travis Barker. KennyHoopla has been an artist pioneering this new age rock revival and easily one of the best to do it. On “Hollywood Sucks//” featuring Travis Barker, we get a taste of Kenny’s feelings in Los Angeles. We get some funny, tongue-in-cheek lines like “Hollywood sucks, I’m moving to Wisconsin”. Often, I see with this revitalization of pop-punk is that nobody adds their take on it, but this is what Kenny excels.
Xcxoplex by A.G. Cook
PC Music founder and hyper-pop originator A.G. Cook drops a collaboration with Charli XCX. “Xcxoplex” is an excellent representation of the stylistic choices Cook brings in to current pop and electronic music. We get some of the most zany production you would hear on a record, but cohesively comes together to make you want to dance. Charli XCX gives us some sweet melodies and sticks the landing on creating a catch record.
Yamacraw Yetti by Pote Baby
Pote Baby is back with a fun bouncy record with “Yamacraw Yetti”. Pote uses a minimalist approach on the track allowing the instrumental to breath with sparse flows. However, that being the case, he gives the song enough energy to make this record bump in the whip. Check out this record below!
