Boston’s own Colby Lafayette comes correct on his latest release, “Dummy Dude”. As to be expected, we got a genre-blending record that takes influences from lofi hip-hop and alternative. The aesthetics of the song are captivating and refreshing in the current state of new musicians. So I suggest anybody that is ready to see where music will be heading in the future get acquainted with this track.
The track is complemented by a lowkey music video of Colby vibing out with his band. The simple idea is executed to the utmost degree, allowing the viewer to stay immersed by his stage presence. As I’ve stated before on this site, Colby has a bright future ahead of him, and I can’t wait to see him perform live.
