Ahmad has been brewing in the underground for a number of months and his name is growing more recognizable with each release. In just twelve concise cuts we hear the diverse sides of this young man. With features from the soon-to-be-legendary Chris Patrick, Trill! and Mekdelawit, all adding their respective talents to this project.

“Heights” boasts a heavy set of energy that one could never ignore. His cadences are precise and memorable in the way he delivers them. You could call this more of a traditionalistic approach to rap, but fundamentals are still important in these modern times. Personal favorite cuts from this opus include “Inhaled”, “Wassup” and “Party”. They each speak to the listener in a manner unlike what has been shoved down our throats as of late. Ahmad does a wondrous job of keeping the ear interested instead of being caught up in a monotonous drag.

“Ghost” with Foolie $urfin is a relaxing introspective cut as well but allows these two to shine brightly atop the protruding production. Overall, this album is a great introduction to what Ahmad has to offer the world, trust us, it’s gonna be a wild ride.
