Rot Ken seems to be trying to make a statement these last weeks of 2021 to gear up for 2022. Dropping a massive single like “Beautiful” featuring SoFaygo shows what type of year he’s looking forward to. This record is a spacey trap-inspired song with a natural bounce bass. Rot Ken gives a very loose performance molding his flow in ways very few artists can. The passion in his voice is impressive, indeed escalating the enjoyability of the record.
SoFaygo gives the best guest verse you could want for this record. Playing with similar melodic motifs as Ken, it fits very well. SoFaygo shows why he’s one of the front runners of the new age of music, and I want to hear these two do more collaborations in the future.
