Flatbush’s own, Fleego drops off an electric new cut called “2HOT2CHILL” and this one is a kinetic ball of energy. New York isn’t traditionally known for its use of rage beats, but artists like Lunchbox and now Fleego are steadily utilizing the sound. Of course, this approach is overtly modernized, but if you choose to go this route, it better be some top-tier shit.
This cut doesn’t disappoint from start to finish, and with direction from xenblack on the visuals, this cohesive package carries our anticipation of what’s next around each corner. The feeling that this one conveys is more important than the breakdown of the vocals. What Fleego brings to us is the notion that his momentum is too serious for him to take the foot off the pedal. And let’s be realistic here, an artist has to really be committed to being great and you can hear it in his tone. This is the wave to move and mosh to, so do yourself a favor and peep the gas below.
