Nicholas Mick‘s “Say You Will” is a heartfelt ballad that details a rocky relationship that Mick is trying to repair. What sets the 18-year-old apart from others within his world are his fresh yet classic-sounding vocals and his ability to integrate influences spanning from Juice Wrld to Red Hot Chilli Peppers in his own way.
While “Say You Will” is certainly a well-written track, there’s an element of rawness that teases how much potential Mick has. I tend to be a sucker for raw vocals and minimalistic instrumentals so I may be biased, but the tinge of raspiness Mick‘s voice rivals his saccharine subject matter perfectly.
