BBM Deion is an 18-year-old phenom coming out of Lubbock, Texas. His style unforgivingly meshes with a cadence of pristine Southern Zest. Though this isn’t to say Deion‘s identity isn’t strong within the music, he is setting the tone for his own legacy. With each jab, punchline, and groove we see why he deserves to be in the bigger conversation.
Atop a wide variety of moving instrumentation, BBM paints vivid skies and shines through each cut. “Take Off” is a great way to kick the door down with all of the colorful melodies melding with percussion. As the beat builds BBM harmonizes like none other carrying into the rest of the project. “Get Even” is a wondrously ominous moment for the project but “Sky High” builds back into a more soulful light. The theme of this one is that Deion can make any sort of song on any type of production and he’s going to leave it all on the line.
