Dallas native BigXthaPlug drops this tough EP “Big Stepper”. Delivering with six tracks we get his viral hit “Safehouse” along with five other heavy hitters. Being from the south you can immediately hear it in his sound. From his diction to his voice, it screams tough southern artist and that is prominent from the second of this EP the last.
Giving me memories of early Kevin Gates mixed with Maxo Kream mixed with his own personality, BigXthaPlug is really putting his sound out there in a market that needs it. Not only are the songs tough because of his persona but the lyrical talent in “Rap N*****” shows you that he has a lot to bring to the game. With that being said BigXthaPlug is on my radar and this EP is going to be on repeat for weeks to come.
