21-Year-old Atlanta-based rapper Destroy Lonely is back with a deluxe version of his debut album No Stylist titled NS+ (ULTRA) featuring 5 new tracks. Destroy Lonely is one of the newest young artists to emerge from Playboi Carti’s newest rap label Opium.
The deluxe album runs for a total of 1 hour and 3 minutes total and features the new additions of “BLITZ”, “HAVINMYWAY”, “ALLURE”, “LOUVRE”, and the album outro “NEVEREVER”.
Along with the Deluxe came a music video for two of the newly released songs “BLITZ“, and “ALLURE“
Lonely over exceeds on this deluxe providing new additions that perfectly fit into an already incredible album, some of the inspirations he cites for making this album possible ranging from rock bands like The Cure and Deftones to his hip-hop influences growing up like Lil Wayne and Chief Keef.
This is extremely fitting with the grunge aesthetics associated with the album along with his cadence and flows throughout the project. When asked about the album Lonely is quoted saying:
“This is where I get to finally show people who the fuck I am within my own rules and my own jurisdiction, Its like when a roller coaster is going up, but its never gonna go down”.
The young Atlanta native has started his career on an incredible high, and it will be very exciting to see where his career takes him in the years to come.
