Taz is one of Tampa’s brightest rising stars, you just aren’t hip to his prowess or styling yet. Linking with the current MVP of NYC, Cash Cobain, they took a classic sample and gave it the slizzy effect. With boisterous kicks that bask in distortion, per the usual Cobain wave, we hear Taz show and prove why he’s one of the best to do it. He doesn’t run away from the off-kilter drill production, instead, he dives in with no hesitation.
After Taz delivers his sermon, Cobain comes in to clean up the scene. Gotta love it when artists from completely different regions find common ground and run up a play together. Maybe this is the one to break Taz through into the mainstream, but there’s plenty in the vault either way. Do yourself a favor and get hip to the gas below.
