Oddisee may have very well released what I consider to be the album of the year. Except it was actually a mixtape, which was piggy backed on to an incredible instrumental album The Beauty In All that was released at the same time. Who the hell else can pull off something like this other than Brooklyn’s own savant producer/emcee? While Tangible Dream is busy getting countless spins in the players of those that know, Mello Music Group’s finest sends over a fresh visual for the track “Own Appeal.” Shot by Tim and Adam at Big Foot Media, the video follows Oddisee through a series of dope outdoor settings in Chicago that he claims are the only place he writes bars. A standout track from a paramount project that gets the visual treatment it deserves. Check it.
