West 27th Street was at a halt at noon today with the much anticipated Yeezy show arriving. Crowds clogged the sidewalks hoping to get a glimpse of the star-studded event.
Kim Kardashian, with North West, Lorde, Common, Kendall Jenner, Cameron Crowe, and Seth Meyers were in the front and second row, to check out Kanye’s second sportswear collaboration with Adidas.
The apparel consisted of soft, dark, street inspired, layered flesh tone sportswear for men and women that had a military vibe much like we have seen before. Think of flack jackets, sweats, duster coats, wide legged pants that zipped up the sides. The shoes were desert boot-inspired sneakers, sure to be an immediate sellout, and groovy sock boots.
Opening Ceremony will receive its full Yeezy Adidas delivery in stores next month. The spring 2016 Yeezy collection goes into stores next year.
