The new generations of musicians are truly all over the place, but artists like Ahmad Anonimis, Wakai, Chris Patrick, and a few others blend fundamentals with great flavor. This go-around Ahmad drops off a very melodic approach called “Get Back”. It seems like this kid is showcasing all of the shades of his talents to the world and isn’t worried about what the masses think. And that is quite fine because this cut has a great deal of replay value, along with sheer talent.
The instrumentation is energetic, and Ahmad‘s confidence doesn’t waver one bit. I think him being Anonimis is more of a temporary thing for this young man because he will find that core group of fans sooner than we know it. Do yourself a favor and get acquainted with this young man and his sound, he’s going to be around for a while.
