Bando’s “Man Down” Is Groovy And Ruthless At The Same Time

One of the hottest emerging scenes in hip-hop right now is the sample-heavy, NYC drill sound. While many of his contemporaries have gruff, in-your-face deliveries that disrespect the opposition as much as possible, Bando chooses a different route.

His flows are silky smooth and lull you into a false sense of safety until you investigate his often inflammatory lyrics. His new track “Man Down”, which samples XXXTentacion‘s “Look At Me”, is so catchy that you almost forget that he’s dissing his opps. Match that with a colorful, energetic video from Boreleone Films and production from Elvis Beats and you have a straight-up hit.
