Barely Legal pairs with Jay Browne for yet another reason to witness their greatness. “CHACHASLIDE” is the anthemic, Tampa-bred, effort from these rising creatives, and it’s a great introduction for the world to take heed of. From the stages of Rolling Loud, to the On The Radar cyper, we see all-around skill that’s not the quintessential sound you’d expect from current musicians coming out of Tampa.
We see our protagonists take a wide selection of scenes and ecosystems and turn them on their heads. We see them running for office, debating the opposition, at the grill out, on the basketball court, and in the barbershop, just to name a few. While each of the gang delivers their powerful set of flows, the culmination of chaos melds perfectly into these shining cinematic frames.
Barely Legal will be here for vastly longer than Brockhampton or the lazy comparisons that people bring to the table. They aren’t the future, they’re right now, peep the gas below.
