In the wake of artists like Pooh Shiesty, Big30, Big Scarr, and Lil Double 0 emerging in the Memphis street rap scene, people are finally starting to notice one of the best-kept secrets in Memphis.

Paper Route Empire’s Big Moochie Grape has been dropping nothing but heat for the last two years. His new project East Haiti Baby sees him continuing to sharpen his craft with breakneck flows, menacing lyrics, and bass-heavy production predominantly from Bandplay.

The title track, which is also the lead track, is one of my personal favorites because Big Moochie refuses to let up on dynamic, powerful deliveries. Moochie‘s subject matter is a balance between his rough upbringing and the money and artillery he now has at his disposal.

The Memphis native also includes features from the late Young Dolph, and fellow PRE signees Key Glock and Kenny Muney. My personal favorites off of this project are “Uncut & Raw”, “I’m The One”, “Christopher Wallace”, and “Never Had Shit.” Check out the project below.
