I wanna start this off by stating that “You Don’t Know Me” by Summer Walker is a complete and utter hit, so I was expecting a lot when I pressed play on Chase Shakur‘s rendition of the track. Needless to say, I was blown away.
Chase Shakur possesses a beautiful voice that just floats over the instrumental, and has an airiness to it that gives it a fresh and clean touch. His voice goes hand in hand with the instrumental to “You Don’t Know Me” and creates a remix that brings something different to the table while still giving homage to the original.
