The Dreamville star kicks the year off with the highly anticipated single “Middle Child” and did not disappoint. J.Cole returns to our pages with his first single of the year off of his upcoming collaborative project Revenge Of The Dreams III. The upcoming album will feature a mix of the various artists on his Dreamville label and hopefully all sound as fire as the recent single. Cole fully unleashes on the T-Minus‘ trumpet heavy instrumental delivering a string of creative punchlines with a slightly auto-tuned melodic hook. The North Carolina rep appears to back to his ways, illustrating stories within his verses drawing the listener in as the track progresses.
